Suwanee Whole Life Co-op: Update: prayers for Bruce
Thank you for all your responses and prayers for Bruce from My Daily Bread. I’ve been in contact with Bruce’s wife, Dabrielle, and she is so grateful for your thoughts and prayers.
This morning Bruce had a heart cath and the doctors discovered that he has a calcified heart blockage of 80%. His only option is open heart surgery. Also, due to the fall yesterday at the warehouse he has a fractured skull and some brain bleeding. Please, please continue your prayers Bruce and his family.
I will continue to keep you all updated as I hear more news.

The Cumming Harvest - Closed: This Week at The Cumming Harvest
THIS WEEK…
Heritage Farm I’m sorry to say that Heritage Farm will not be selling with us this week and possibly for a while. They have a long drive to deliver to us from Bowden, GA and as you can imagine expenses with travel can add up. Sales need to be at a certain level and they just weren’t meeting the mark. We’ll miss Greg and all that he offered to our market.
We are in communication with a local dairy farmer from Dawsonville and I’ll let you know as soon as he is approved to sell.
Chicken may be difficult to get but my hopes are with the new chicken processing facility in Alabama that more farmers will be selling based on that they can now process more closely to home than traveling to Kentucky.

ALFN Local Food Club: New Vendors & Reminder
ALFN Members,
We have two new vendors that just posted new items this week. You may want to check them out before I close the market tomorrow at noon.
Cedar Rock Acres is a two generation farm that specializes in berries, veggies, sorghum and ground cornmeal. Currently, they have listings of different types of heirloom cornmeal and corn grits. They sell them in 2 lb bags. How awesome is that!
We also have a new duck egg producer on the market. Beyond the Greenhouse sells duck eggs and hopes to eventual begin selling microgreens as well. Check out their grower page to learn about their eggs.
The market continues to expand with wonderful options providing close to a one-stop shop experience. I hope everyone is taking advantage!
