Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m. in Clayton, Clarkesville, or Gainesville.

If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION after you finish the checkout process, then your order is NOT complete. Head back to the market page, and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.

Once you place an order, be on the lookout for the order reminder email on Wednesday with further pickup and payment notes. Thanks for your support!

Start off with a hearty breakfast… Get fresh eggs and beef or pork sausage to go with homemade bagels or toasted sourdough. Savor the end of summer with some top quality watermelons and pack beef snack sticks for a protein packed snack! If PB & J with some amazing jam or jelly produced from delicious local fruits is not your style, you can choose some sliced ham for a savory sandwich. Add some fresh pecans to your snack collection or treat your kiddos to some candied fruit in their favorite flavor! With around 30 different flavors of homemade cookies, we have something for everyone! A slice of a sweet bread is also a great treat as are some soft and decadent whoopie pies! Enjoy homemade caramels if you are a candy lover and you can always find some local honey on our extras table! Create nutrious dinners with prime cuts of beef and pork or substitute lions mane mushrooms for a vegan meal. Enjoy summer vegetables like squash and tomatoes and don’t forget to choose some fresh herbs or seasonings! RCM has it covered from sweets and treats to hearty breads, nutritious herbs and veggies, fresh mushrooms, local meats and more!! Don’t forget to take advantage of the Double Up Food Bucks program for $20 worth of free fruits and veggies each week!!

The way I feel after every week when I get to see all of you…happy!!

I am opening the market up, again, for your weekly ordering pleasure!!

Don’t forget to take advantage of the seasonal produce!!!! It’s so nice to have so much on the market, and you don’t want to miss out on the fun!!

Also, thank you, to all, who asked about when I will be returning with my baking!! I just got back from Maine, and am now going into the end of the season weddings, with two large weddings for catering!! After that, I am heading to FLA for a few days to babysit my sweet grandson, Lennon, and then by mid September, I will be back to baking for you!!

CLG:  Pick Up TODAY 3-6p: Strack Farm extras!

Good morning,

This is a pickup reminder for those of you who ordered this week. Strack Farm will have lots of extras today so be sure to stop by early even if you don’t have an order to snag some goodies: tomatoes, squash, peppers, and zucchini.

If you ordered milk WITHOUT deposit, don’t forget to bring your RINSED bottles (no caps needed) thanks :)

You can pick up your order starting at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway. You are welcome to come in and sit down in the lobby if you are early, but we may not be able to check you out until 3pm.

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick it up for you.

Remember to bring your reusable market bags. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon!
